Most mountain bike programs miss the connection between female physiology and how it affects riding, training, performance and recovery. This is because most research is focused on males.
Issues like pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, back pain, fatigue, burn out, and overtraining are also common among female mountain bikers, with over 40% of female athletes experiencing pelvic floor challenges.
Motherhood also poses a significant challenge to the mountain biker.
That’s why I started MTB Mamas—to bridge the gap and provide sustainable, evidence-based support for women who want to ride, whether they’re entering the sport, returning after having a baby, or competing at a high level.
In addition to professional mountain bike coaching and guiding, I offer personalised and downloadable Fitness, Training, and Rehab programs from pregnancy to postpartum to menopause and beyond. This means you’ll not only get personalized strategies for your unique needs and life stage, but you’ll also receive expert coaching to help you feel your best both on and off your bike.
